FCI WORLD SHOW
We have shown our dogs all over the world. We have shown at the FCI World Show in Mexico City (1999), Rio De Jenerio, Brazil (2004 ),and Buenos Aires, Argentina (2005).
Matuszak became World Champion Reserve in 1999, while his son Butkus won the 6-9 month class.
Matuszak’s son Braxx is the two time FCI World Champion Best of Breed. In 2004, under Snr Oscar Valverde from Costa Rica and 2005 under Horst Kliebenstein from Germany.
Matuszak’s daughter Brawny is the two time FCI World Champion Best Female in 2004, under Snr Oscar Valverde from Costa Rica and 2005 under Horst Kliebenstein from Germany.
DDBS NATIONAL SHOW
The largest USA National Breed Club held the first national show in 1998. We have never missed a DDBS National Show and have 5 National Best of Breed titles in our family in the 8 years of existence of the club. Also, of the 8 national shows, Matuszak or one of his sons, have won 6 national best male of the 8 national shows.
Matuszak won Best in Show in the first DDBS National show in 1998, under Philipe Serioul, who co-wrote the FCI standard for the Dogue de Bordeaux with Prof Raymond Triquet.
Matuszak was Best Male in 2000, under Msr.Andre LeBlond from France, and Best in Show again in 2001,under Madame Sylviane Tompousky, President of the SADB French Club. Matuszak was the only dogue to become Best in Show 2 times, until his son Braxx did it in 2003,under Pedro Bispo, Portugal, and 2005, under Mdm.Helen Denis and Msr.Benoit Thevenon., from France.
Matuszak was the first Supreme Grand Club Champion. Special congratulation to Matuszak’s son Chaos for his 2004 Best in Show, under Msr. Novaressio, from Italy.
Brawny was Best in Show Youth in 2000, under, Msr.Andre LeBlond. Brawny was Best of Opposite in 2001, under Madame Sylviane Tompousky and 2002 under, Jesus Sanchez Pardo.
Matuszak moved to the Veteran Class in 2002 and has been Best in Show Veteran in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. In 2005, he was presented an award by the Judge Madame Helen Denis, for being her favorite dog at the show as he made quite an impression at age 10 . Matuszak’s son Braxx, however, was Best in Show in 2005.
FRENCH CLUB NATIONAL SHOW
We have shown at the French National Show in 1998 and 2005. Matuszak placed the highest of any American bred dog in history in 1998, receiving the RCAC under Mdm. Thevenon, Prof. Raymond Triquet and Msr Novaressio. Matuszak’s daughter Brawny won the Champion Female Class in 2005, and became the first American bred dog to win an adult class. Braxx was 2nd in the Champion Male Class
Matuazak, Brawny and Braxx all received excellent ratings in the TAN endurance and all scored a perfect 5/5 in the temperament test in France.
MEXICO FCI INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL SHOW
We are very proud to be able to show in the FCI in Mexico. Mexico held their first National Specialty in 2004. Braxx became Best in Show and Brawny was Best Female and Best of Opposite Sex, under Senior Isidro Castro. All of our dogues are FCI champions. Braxx became the first Dogue de Bordeaux to be awarded Best in Show at an FCI International Show. Matuszak was the first Dogue de Bordeaux to earn an obedience title in the FCI.
Braxx and Brawny are both FCI International Champions, and FCI Great Mexican Champions. Braxx and Brawny both share FCI Brazilian and Brawny is a FCI Americas and Carribean Champion under Senor Louis Pinto Teixeira, from Portugal..
USBC NATIONAL SHOW
We have also supported the USBC National Shows in 1995, 2000, 2002 and 2003. Matuszak was Best
Puppy in his class in 1995, Best in Show in 2000, under Professor Raymond Triquet, Mdm. Ann-Marie Class, and Msr. Bas Bosh. Brawny won Best Female and Best of Opposite Sex in 2000 at only 12 months of age under Triquet, Madame Class, and Bas Bosh and again in 2002 Brawny won Best Female and Best of Opposite Sex under Mdm Tompousky. In 2003, Braxx became Best in Show and Brawny was Best of Opposite Sex, under Mdm. Christine LaFay, from France.
