We are located in Southern California. We were introduced to the Dogue de Bordeaux in 1995 and have been actively showing, training and raising dogues since those early days. We strongly believe in raising our dogs in our family, with plenty of exercise and attention. We would never allow any of our dogs to live in kennels or to be restricted from human contact.
We strongly believe in health testing our dogs. Knowing all you can know before breeding is not only a sound breeding tool, it is plain common sense. We believe in training and working our dogs in obedience. Socializing our dogs is also of great importance, without compromising the correct temperament of the dogue. All of our dogs have passed the temperament test, all are trained in obedience, and all are therapy dogs.
Our goal is to help produce healthy dogs with sound temperaments without sacrificing type. We prefer the larger athletic dogs that can work, as well as show in conformation. We are more concerned with quality not quantity. Matuszak will be 11 years old in April 2006 and he is still exercised twice each day. We believe exercise is the key to longevity in our dogs, as well as in humans.
We believe in supporting the rescue of the Dogue de Bordeuax. We have had a rescue in our family for six years. Please consider adopting a rescue.
